LAUREN MCMASTER, HR + ACCOUNTING

Lauren was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Middletown, DE in 2001. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before transferring to the University of Delaware to finish her degree in hotel and restaurant management. Her first position in the restaurant industry was at the Lighthouse in Dewey Beach where she worked as a hostess before becoming a bartender.

In 2015, Lauren began working with SoDel Concepts as a server at Bluecoast Bethany, where she was quickly identified as an asset to the company and was promoted to bartender and then became part of the management team. Lauren says the company, “inspires her to give back and consistently provides opportunities to develop herself personally and professionally.” She now works in the Accounting & Human Resources department, managing payroll for the entire company, and also assists with all aspects of employment for Highwater Management.

Lauren lives in Coastal Delaware with her husband Chad and their two cats.
